When using the 18V Battery Charger Adaptor with the 40V Max Rapid Charger (DC40RA) 18V LXT batteries are able to be rapid charged faster then ever before. With the DC40RA able to rapid charge 18V LXT batteries up to 27% faster than 18V rapid charging models. Creating this link gives users the convenience of access to both battery platforms. The 18V platform is home to the Worlds Largest Range of tools while the 40V Max platform provides a higher battery output for high demand applications. Two battery platforms one charger.
